It's Official... When it comes to BIM we know what we are talking about!

Masterbill are pleased to announce that three of our staff have now completed and passed the RICS Certificate in Building Information Modelling (BIM) - Project Management.

Paul Watkins (Sales & Marketing Director), Tola Adetola (QS Support) and Francis Adetola (West Africa Agent) have each completed seven modules covering a range of topics from the Benefits of BIM through BIM Uses, the Employers Information Requirements, the BIM Execution Plan right through to handover and Asset Data Exchange. Each module required extensive reading and understanding of the latest BIM documentation, a series of presentations, online webinars and a Case Study.

As a result we have all read PAS 1192-2 from cover to cover, are now all familiar with numerous BIM acronyms from AIMs to TIDPs including EIRs, BEPs, MIDPs, CDEs and COBie and have recorded 200 hours of CPD for 2016.

With BIM Level 2 mandates now in place for all government projects in England and Wales and coming in to force in Scotland in 2017 and the increase in interest and adoption of our QSBIM Integrated BIM Measurement module for Masterbill Elite we are now confident we can help our customers to ensure that they are BIM Ready.
