Improved Recycle Bin Facilities
If you have ever deleted the wrong dims and struggled to get them back - Masterbill Elite has the answer.
Masterbill Elite includes the ability to delete either individual dimsheets or complete dimstores.
Tip: If you wish to ‘restore’ a complete dimstore then this is done at the dimsheet level by selecting all dimsheets with the select all button and clicking undelete. Note: Deleted dimsheets facilities also come into play when moving dimsheets as they are copied to their new location and deleted from the old. Therefore delete doesn’t mean delete in Masterbill Elite as everything can be restored if required. Phew! We have heard a few users sigh.
This feature is accessed from the dim management view and is carried out by simply selecting the dimsheets or dimstores to be deleted and then clicking the delete button. Deleted dimsheets and/or dimstores are displayed in red and their contents will no longer appear in the BQ. They are no longer sent off to a hidden Recycle Bin that often fills up or
produces error messages
Knowing our users well we have also included the ability to ‘undelete’ or ‘restore’ any deleted dimsheets and/or dimstores in exactly the same way but by clicking the undelete button after selecting the relevant dimsheets.
