See how you can ensure your Bills generate/refresh at full speed
In the latest release of Masterbill Elite we have included two new features that will enable you to produce/refresh Bills even quicker, by reducing the amount of data passed over your network, as follows:
1. The ability to remove the formatting when working in the Bill View.
When loading a Bill page Masterbill Elite has to not only load the data but also all the formatting details e.g. bold, underline, italics, etc. In order to reduce the time required to refresh/load a Bill users can now elect not to format the Bill when loading it into the Bill View Window.
Formatting will still be applied when producing the print preview or when printing the Bill.
Formatting may be turned on/off from the Options menu
2. The suppression of pricing.
As well as retrieving the Bill Items and their formatting from the server Masterbill also checks and retrieves any prices that have been entered against a Bill. Again in order to reduce the amount of network traffic and hence the amount of time required to generate a Bill Masterbill Elite now includes the ability to prevent the system retrieving this information.
This feature will be turned on by default for all new Bills, users may turn this feature off when they wish to price the Bill or view previously entered prices by making use of the following button located on the toolbar.
