Masterbill customers will be aware that for years we have provided BQ production systems that provide ‘full sortation’ and enable the user to take off their measured items in any order and to reshuffle their Bills into both SMM order and the sequence of their choice. Now Masterbill Elite provides a facility for users to both analyse and ‘filter’ their documents to match even more specific requirements.
Tags are a quick and easy way to identify and assign measured items or Dimsheets to a particular cost centre or category. Bill items or individual Dimsheets can be assigned to up to three different cost headings or categories for analysis and ‘filtering’ purposes.
For example in a housing project Tag 1 could be used for identifying items that relate to a particular Apartment, Tag 2 for a particular Floor and Tag 3 for a particular Functional Area. Once identification is complete the user could use the Tags facilities to calculate the costs allocated to each of the Apartments, Floors or Functional Area in a matter of minutes.
Not only would the users be able to calculate these costs but by making use of the associated ‘filtering’ facility the user could also produce a specific document that relates to a single Apartment, Floor or Functional Area in just a matter of seconds.
