What's New?
Export to DWG format
Have you ever wanted to send someone an electronic copy of your coloured up QSCad drawing but couldn’t work out how to do it? Help is at hand with this new feature.
Once you have completed your measurement and are ready to send your drawing simply select File / Export As DWG File.
QSCad will then export your coloured up drawing to a DWG file and advise you of its name and location.
This file can then be opened in any standard DWG viewer applications including DWGTrueView which is free to download from AutoDesk’s website, or a Full Version of AutoCAD.
Note: Each of your measurement layers has now been saved as a separate layer in the DWG file with the prefix of “QSCad” so those receiving your drawing can even select which layers to view/hide.
We trust this enhancement will assist you in communicating what you have measured to others either within or outside your organisation.
