Synopsis: At the recent meeting of the Scottish Local Authority Masterbill User Group we were pleased to hear how users are getting to grips with the latest software and expanding its use.

At the recent SLAMUG meeting we were pleased to hear how users are getting to grips with the latest software and expanding its use.

 

The Scottish Local Authority Masterbill User Group (SLAMUG) met on 30th April 2009 in Dundee with a packed agenda including:

  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • QSCad Update
  • Security Features
  • Online eTendering
  • Post Contract Module
  • NRM (New Rules of Measurement)
  • Directions in Development

Members also gave feedback on their experiences and use of their current Masterbill software and it was good to hear the many positive comments made regarding Masterbill Elite.  It was interesting too to hear how many have been considering how it could be used for functions and in departments outside the normal Quantity Surveying role.

The meeting also gave us an opportunity to discuss the member’s future requirements and has led to a number of developments and a whole new approach to eTendering being adopted.
