Which Library? or
"Where's my dims gone?"
One of our most common support calls starts with the words "My dims don't seem to be included in my Bill"
Fortunately this is rarely due to an error in our software but is simply due to the user getting confused with which Library or Libraries their descriptions are coming from.
With Masterbill Elite making it easier than ever before to copy and reuse data it is not a surprise that more and more users are cutting corners and saving time rather than ‘reinventing the wheel’, the only problem is that it is now so easy a number of users have lost track of just where the items they are copying originate.
It is with this in mind that the latest version of Masterbill Elite now includes an indication in the Project Properties of which Libraries have been used in the preparation of the Project.
To find out which Libraries have been used in your current Project access the Project Properties page and click on the Select Library button to view a list of libraries as shown below.
The libraries in use are shown in colour.
We hope this will help avoid confusion in the future, and maybe the odd support call.
